Welcome ESSIC President

 

After the successful meetings in Rome, Delhi and Budapest, it is a pleasure and privilege to invite you to meet in Kyoto for our annual scientific meeting 2018. ICICJ and ESSIC join forces to make an interesting and attractive meeting in April.

ESSIC has been very active in studying several important remaining questions on BPS/IC and I am proud that a strong progress has been made in better define definition, phenotyping and different forms of treatment as GAG replenishment, pain treatment, physiotherapy, surgery, Botulinum toxin, neuromodulation and other. Many new data will be discussed in working groups in Kyoto, beside oral presentations and poster discussions.

We are sure that the very intensive international coordination and communication will prove beneficial first of all for the patients but also for the health care providers and health authorities.

We all work on the same goal.

I hope that many of you will join us in Kyoto in 2018
